Nowadays interrupting the power supply to any town due to maintenance works on power lines is inconceivable.
Maintenance works on energized power lines have become common and insulated aerial platforms are currently the most profitable option than enables the contractors to perform this kind of work.
ALTEC provides a wide range of models for live working, telescopic and articulated, with insulating capacities up to 500 kV.
All our products have been CE certificated and meet both, American ANSI and European UNE standards.
Aresmare Team, offers the customer a complete service:
1 We receive the chassis picked up by the customer directly from the manufacturer,
2 Carrying out the required modifications on the chassis,
3 Mounting the corresponding aerial platform model,
4 Taking care of the vehicle body when asked to performing the dielectric test at the LCOE,
5 getting the final vehicle through the corresponding Traffic Administration Office and,
6 finally delivering the unit, ready to start working, CE certificated.
7 Commitment to deliver within 24 hours any spare parts anywhere in our territory.
Every unit delivered is equipped with operator and service manuals, written in the local language. At the time of delivery, that will take place where required by the customer, an operation and maintenance course will be given to the future operators of the unit, the corresponding certificates being issued.

Telescopic Series, TA Class

Telescopic booms models obey to the most modern design and have great advantages at the workplace:

1 Thanks to the compensation link that articulates a parallelogram with the lower boom, the upper boom keeps its angle to the ground constant when the lower boom is raised or lowered. The relative position of the operators at the platform from the ground is always the same.
2 The shorter length of the unit in transport position (being the telescopic section fully retracted) allows these models to be mounted on shorter wheelbase vehicles, down to two axles, more all terrain, making access to the working place easier and faster.
3 Moreover, the relative position of the upper boom to the lower boom (the booms have been designed side by side instead of one above the other) reduces transport height.
4 Non-lube bearings have been used at most points of motion.
5 Jib and winch material handling is standard.
6 A 2-man single platform, 61x122 cm and 272 kg capacity, is standard.
7 An emergency hydraulic pump, driven by a DC motor powered by vehicle battery, in parallel with the main hydraulic pump, provides oil flow in case of emergency, failure of the main pump or just in case of indoors locations.
8 An innovative joystick at the platform(s) controls the four possible movements of the unit: lower and upper booms articulation, rotation and extension of the telescopic section. Its design, using materials of high electrical resistance, provides the operator with a second insulating protection, but never replacing insulating gloves and sleeves.
Currently ALTEC telescopic series counts with three models, TA50, TA55 and TA60, providing working heights up to 20,2 m and up to 69 kV insulation.

Articulated Series, A Class

Known worldwide as the traditional equipment for live working, their characteristics have made them become over the years the most demanded equipment for maintenance of power lines:

1 Designed for low maintenance costs. No major scheduled maintenance required.
2 Automatic upper boom stow.
3 An innovative joystick at the platforms controls the three possible movements of the unit: upper and lower booms articulation and rotation. Its design, using high electrical resistance materials, provides the operator with a second insulating protection, never replacing insulating gloves and sleeves.
4 A single two man platform, end mounted, is standard for these models, of 610x1220x1067 mm dimensions and 363 kg capacity, with 90º rotation.
5 Two sets of A-frame telescopic outriggers are provided as part of the lift. Each one of them consists of two, outer and inner, steel tubes, sliding one inside the other thanks to a double acting cylinder with dual counterbalance valves.
6 Non-lube bearings have been used at most points of motion.
7 Jib and winch material handling is standard for this series (hydraulic model as an option).
8 An emergency hydraulic pump, driven by a DC motor powered by vehicle battery, in parallel with the main hydraulic pump, provides oil flow in case of emergency, failure of the main pump or just in case of indoors locations.
9 Unique Accu-level® system, providing automatic hydraulic platform leveling.
Currently ALTEC A-class series counts with three models, A65, A70 and A75, providing working heights up to 25 m and up to 500 kV insulation.

Over-Center Series , A-OC Class

This series has been developed using the articulated series basics, incorporating a wider range of articulation for the upper boom, granting access to platform and jib&winch at ground level:

1 Designed for low maintenance costs. No major scheduled maintenance required.

4 Dual one man platforms are standard with these models, of 610x762x1067 mm dimensions and 181 kg capacity each one, and 90º rotation.

Light Series

Designed for mounting on lighter and shorter vehicles, more compact, this series provides working heights up to 15 m:
